Sunday 13

Its been an incredibly busy two days- it feels like theyve been 4! I almost cant even remember what we did yesterday! We had our first lessons with a wonderfulgroup of 4 young people from Essence Cafe this morning. They are so lovely and so eager to learn and chat. We will be meeting them twice a week from now on, which will be a real highlight to the week.
We have quite a few more job interviews this week, so we are just waiting on those to choose the best place, we hope yo both stay part time so that we can focus on private lessons as well, which is what we really want to do- with everyday people for everyday prices. They are so willing to work hard and desperate to improve. We told the 4 today as well that we would have people coming to visit us while we are here and they really want to put together a tour for when they are here, and are so excited to meet everyone. Their enthusiam is infectious!
We were exhausted this afternoon though, as weve been going pretty much nonstop since we got here, so have had quite an easy afternoon. We found some wonderful bookshops and got to chatting to more young people looking in the english section. The english teaching books are unashamedly copied, but it adds to the charm! Weve also come across some other beautiful shops selling al kinds of things...im afraid that we are going to end up doing what we didnt want to do and thats get things to make our flat homely and comfortable!! At least its quite small so we cant get too much ;)
