Well, i had my trial interview. I was really nervous, and decided to leave early (4:15) to give plenty of time to go the 9km in a taxi to get to the school (last time took 15 mins- needed to be there to go through the plan at 5) Suddenly the minutes were ticking by and at 4:50 we had only gone 4 km! I started panicking, called to say i would be a few minutes late, thinking i had no idea if at that rate i would make the beginning of the lesson at 5:45! Luckily we started moving and i rocked up at ten past 5- phew.
I started meeting the students- between 6 and 10 years old and all very sweet. We all sat on mats on the floor doing puzzles, days of the week, games amd songs- they were so cute. I got the job!! I start on saturday, (which is after friday and before sunday- as the kids now know;) ) and will be doing about 8 hrs a week to start, then after the new years holiday probably more. I really like the setup of the school and i love the age group.
Things seem to be working out pretty well so far.
