Hanoi

We've arrived safe and sound! Our seats were brilliant, just behind first class so we had lots of room, and the flight was smooth and easy with tasty food. We didnt sleep at all as it landed at 11pm UK time, so despite drinking a glass of wine and wearing eye masks we couldnt kid ourselves that we were tired. We've checked in at the hotel and are now justdrinking coffee whilst waiting for our room to be available (its only 830am here now). It almost feels as though we never left Hanoi. Being driven through the streets we realised just how quickly the last 4 months has passed and how familiar everything feels. Its a nice feeling, the familiarity- it softens any shock to the system. Its colder here than we expected, but nice. We are really happy to be back.
